How We Chose the Casinos in This Ranking
We evaluated 16 online casinos operating in Mexico and Argentina — 10 with a Mexican SEGOB license or offshore regulation, and 6 with Argentine provincial licenses. Every review follows the same process: we open a real account, deposit our own funds, play slots and live casino, request withdrawals and time every step.
We cross-check the safety data against Casino.guru's Safety Index, an independent database that assesses terms and conditions, player complaints and regulatory history. We do not use made-up scores.
What We Evaluate at Each Casino
Four factors determine a casino's position in the ranking:
- License and regulation. SEGOB in Mexico, provincial licenses in Argentina (IPLyC, LOTBA, Lotería de Santa Fe, etc.). Offshore casinos (Curaçao) make the ranking but with explicit notes on the differences in player protection.
- Real withdrawals. We measure the time from the request until the money reaches our bank account. SPEI in Mexico, bank transfer in Argentina. We do not use the operator's published times.
- Bonus terms. Rollover, validity, contribution by game type and max cashout. A bonus with a 55x rollover in 5 days is not a bonus — it is marketing.
- Spanish-language support. We contact live chat or WhatsApp with real questions about withdrawals and verification. We time the response.
Mexico: 10 Casinos Evaluated
The Mexican market operates under the SEGOB permit, granted by the Dirección General de Juegos y Sorteos (DGJS). No new licenses are issued — only existing operators can offer online casino, either directly or through partnerships.
Of the 10 casinos evaluated for Mexico, 8 hold a SEGOB license: Caliente, Codere, Strendus, Winpot, GanaBet (Sportium), Rushbet, Betcris and PlayCity. The other 2 — 1win and MyStake — operate with a Curaçao license and no local Mexican regulation.
Betcris stands out for holding a dual SEGOB + Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) license, the only casino in Mexico with local and international regulation at the same time. Its 5x rollover is the lowest in the market.
Rushbet offers the widest variety of providers — 44 verified directly from its lobby, including Konami Gaming and Aristocrat, providers rarely seen at other Mexican casinos.
Argentina: 6 Casinos with Provincial Licenses
Argentina regulates online gambling province by province. Each jurisdiction issues its own licenses through provincial lotteries (LOTBA in CABA, IPLyC in Buenos Aires, Lotería de Santa Fe, Lotería de Córdoba, etc.). The casinos operate on .bet.ar domains, which NIC Argentina only assigns to authorized operators.
Bplay leads with a Casino.guru Safety Index of 9.8/10 — the highest score of any Argentine casino, backed by Grupo Boldt (listed on BYMA as BOLT) and present in 6 provinces.
City Center Online has a unique feature: cash deposits at the cashier of the physical casino in Rosario (CashAtCage). GuazuBet is the only casino operated directly by a provincial government (IPLyC Misiones).
Casinos Excluded from the Ranking
Three casinos we previously evaluated were removed:
- bet365 — blocked by Mexico's UIF (November 2025)
- Betano — blocked by Mexico's UIF (November 2025)
- Betway AR — closed operations in Argentina
If any of these casinos resumes verifiable legal operations, we will re-evaluate them.
